Carmine Caligiuri has been active in the music industry for the last 15 years. An excellent drummer 1st. and foremost, he also writes and produces music out of his home studio. Carmine keeps a busy schedule of live playing with local bands Powerhouse and Ten Inch Men, as well as studio dates with various local artists. Daniel Kapetanov is a fairly new addition to AXE MUSIC, overseeing our newest department... The Home Piano Division. Growing up playing piano and organ in church, Daniel quickly progressed to playing in dining rooms, lounges, and performing with various bands. He currently spends time in various recording projects to satisfy his musical cravings.
Daniel has been involved in the Music Retail Industry for over 20 years now, specializing in Pianos (acoustic and digital), keyboards, organs, and synthesizers.
Daniel's attention to customer needs is "second to none" he looks forward to the opportunity of demonstrating this to you first hand.
Daniel Secker's passion for drums and percussion began actively in 1974 when he switched from piano to drums. From private lessions, to high school concert and jazz bands, the Edmonton All City Band, and full time touring, Dan has been actively involved in industry organizations such as ARIA, SOCAN, PAS (Percussive Arts Society), CARAS, and the AFM of the United States and Canada.

Dragan Jargic A.K.A. "DJ Dragon", has been behind the turntables since 1990. DJ, producer, promoter, information provider and now AXE DJ Specialist, are all hats he wears very well. Sharing his knowledge with others has always been a plus with this big lovable guy.
AT AXE MUSIC for almost 2 years, Dragan has become a respected authority in the mid-west underground dance music scene. After meeting DJ LACE, the founder of VUTAG records in 1993, Dragan has been in the studio working hard on projects of his own. Spreading the word of how AXEciting dance music is, (via promo CD's, DJ Mix tapes and the Internet), has allowed DJ Dragon to rub elbows with some with some world class DJ/Producers. This has exposed him to a wealth of knowledge about DJ equipment that he uses every day at AXE MUSIC.

Glen Peters has been part of the AXE MUSIC Sales Team since September 1993. He is currently the P.A. specialist and has been in this role for the last two years. Glen has served as guitar product specialist in the past and has a very good knowledge and experience in the areas of recording and installations. Amongst his peers and customers, Glen is known for his positive approach. A recent quote from a customer read, "Glen did a super job of showing me, and explaining the different options that were available... I was impressed with his professionalism. He gave his time to answer all my questions and did not seem rushed like a few I have encountered in other establishments".

Greg Kolchinsky was born in St. Petersburg, Russia where he finished high school and music school mahoring in piano and attended St. Petersburg's Institute of Cinema Arts, studing Sound Techniques for Film Industry. During that time he was involved in the local music scene playing in various bands.
In 1990 Greg left Russia and came to Canada, settling in Edmonton. He eventally continued his studies of Sound Engineering at Trebas Institute of Recording Arts and Science in Vancouver, BC - graduating in 1995.
He volunteered and worked at different syudio's and live venues in Vancouver, before coming back to Edmonton in 1996.
Greg has been with Axe Music for over a year, and specializes in all aspects of recording.

Kevin McDade has been active in the music industry for over 30 years. Having been in music retail for the past 11 years, he has built up product expertise in guitars, basses, amplification, and P.A. systems. He is currently AXE's product specialist in Karaoke products.
As coordinator and coach, Kevin is heading up the new WEEKEND WARRIORS PROGRAM at AXE.

Marcel Hamel is one of the newest members of the Axe Team, but comes to us with a strong teaching and education background. He was an Instructor and Instructional Assistant with the Music Program at Grant MacEwan Community College (GMCC) since 1983, where he also received his Diploma in Piano Performance and Recording Arts. | ||
He has served as the Section Head for the Recording Major and was an instructor in Music Technology at GMCC, in the full-time Program as well as teaching Music Technology and Macintosh computers through the Arts Outreach Department.
He took a leave in 1991 to 1993 to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Music Synthesis/Production from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Marcel received top grades (Summa Cum Laude) as well as several scholarships and awards, notably the Robert Moog Award (Music Synthesis) and an award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) for outstanding achievement in Music Technology. Marcel is also a self employed professional musician (keyboards) comfortable in every performance situation and a sought after clinician (computer and music application and multi-media development). These positions and studies have enabled him to become widely experienced in Music Synthesis,computer-based music production, studio recording (albums, jingles, film) and music publishing. Although his specialty is in the field of music technology, Marcel knows first-hand the difficult and sometimes overwhelming decisions that educators must face when it comes to making purchasing choices. Whether it be from recorders to computer-based digital audio, Marcel will help you make informed and intelligent decisions, and he will also be available to offer training and consulting. Pat Lencucha has been a part of the AXE sales team for 10 years!!! He is familiar with all AXEpects of our business and sales floor. Rick Shermack is our Assistant Manager. He brings more than 20 years of valuable experience in all aspects of the retail and commercial music business. With an extensive background in the hotel and nightclub industry, Rick specializes in nightclub lighting and audio design and installations, as well as live band systems.
Rick has played in many successful touring bands and can recommend the latest in band equipment, guitars and amplifiers, as well as many suggestions for your club or bands future in the entertainment industry.

Rick Simpson is the newest member of Axe Music's commercial/residential installation sales team. Rick has been with Axe Music for 2 years. 1st. as microphone specialist and currently as lighting and home theatre audio/video specialist. With over 25 years in the music inductry as a performer and 10 years as a stage pyrotechnics and lighting supervisor, Rick offers a wealth of information as a valuable member of Axe Music's sales team.
Trevor Tetzlaff, AXE's Guitar Specialist, has been involved in the live music industry for over 14 years. Trevor has played guitar in various groups touring across Canada. Since Trevor's start with AXE in 1994, he has remained active in the "local club scene". Trevor's knowledge and experience in all areas of our store, makes him a valuable asset to the AXE team and his customer's buying experiences.
