Crown Power-Tech 2 Amplifier

Ideal for the professional musician, the Power-Tech Series presents an unmatched package of performance, reliability and value.

These amplifiers feature recessed level controls on the front panel along with signal presence/IOC, (distortion) indicators for quick and accurate information on amplifier performance. ODEP circuitry protects the amplifier under the most severe conditions, while DC and fault protection safeguard your investment if conditions should become dangerous.

Power-Tech Series amplifiers include three input sensitivity settings, providing the versatility for any application from sound reinforcement to electronic instruments.

SPECIFICATIONS

Amplifier Accessories: Accepts MT-XLR and MT-BB input modules.

Signal-to-Noise:(A-weighted) Better than 105 dB below full rated power into 8 ohms with 26 dB gain. (Unweighted) Better than100 dB below full rated power.

Input Impedance: Nominally 20 K ohms balanced and 10 K ohms unbalanced.

Controls: Enable, channel 1 and 2 level controls, stereo/mono switch (Stereo, Bridge-Mono, Parallel-Mono), three-position input sensitivity switch (0.775 V or 1.4 V for full output or a 26 dB voltage gain).

Indicators:

Enable: A red indicator which shows the unit has been turned on and the low voltage power supply and cooling system are operating.
Signal/IOC: Two-color indicator for each channel flashes green to show that there is amplifier output, and flashes yellow if the amplifier causes any distortion of 0.05% or more.

Connectors:

Inputs: Balanced 1/4-in. phone jack for each channel.
Output: A pair of color-coded binding posts each channel.
AC Line: Standard three-wire grounded connector.

Dimensions: 19 in. (48.3 cm) standard rack mount width, 3.5 in. (8.9 cm) height, 16 in. (40.6 cm) depth behind mounting surface.
