The Electro-Voice S40 is a high-performance two-way monitor. The vented enclosure is constructed of high-impact polystyrene and is available in black or white.
The S40 features a 5 1/4" polypropylene woofer coupled with a 1" dome tweeter. This combination produces exceptional bass response - more than any in its class - and a smooth, extended top end. System protection is accomplished by EVs exclusive PRO" circuit which provides independent protection for the woofer and tweeter. In the event the S40 is accidently overdriven, the PRO circuit activates, limiting the power being delivered to the components, and automatically resets when the system returns to safe level.
The enclosure features threaded inserts in combination with optional mounting hardware.
