The Astatic 82717 is a miniature electret Condenser cardioid microphone, permanently attached to an ultra-slim gooseneck, with built-in circuitry for phantom powering. The 82717 has a controlled low frequency roll off, smooth mid-range, and especially contoured upper range to give a "natural", "brighter" sound. The 82717 is supplied with a miniature windscreen to control wind noise and breath "pop" during close talk situations. |
